Adventure is in my blood, I gotta admit. We thought the Portland PD was going to be an easy task. Just break and enter, no killing involved. Well, guess danger lurks around every alleyway here.. The place was just around the corner from Mr. Breach's tower. We needed to search for clues for a story regarding the mayor of Junkflea.. Another one of these places I've never heard of before. Esther guarded the door while me and Wrench went in, detective style. We teared the place apart and couldn't find anything! That's when Esther left her post and insisted she should search too. She quickly found a note that wasn't just old-world mumbo jumbo about criminals and cops. Couldn't understand what It was, but Wrench was certain; That's what we came here find! Mission accomplished, right?! Well... Just when we were about to leave the place, two shady figures jumped at us from the shadows. Too bad for them my reflexes are still kicking, and Wrench doesn't blink on service. A brief fire exchange and both were dead. Strangely, these guys were from Junkflea Itself!

We were about to leave the place immediately when we heard engine sounds. A scavenger scout party alongside a retrofitted van were on to us! Esther was terified, but Wrench calmed us down to mount a plan... If there's one thing I'm really good at is baiting. Wrench and Esther were stationed on the rooftops and I went down to draw fire to me, as moving target. Wrench used her sniper rifle to pick off some of the scavs entrenched in the ruins, while Esther took my Grenade Rifle and pulverized the van! We survived! Still don't know If It was a miracle or just smart team work. The girls were really impressed on how I was able to draw so much attention to myself while not getting shot... What can I say?! Been doing this for all my life, baiting people so others can finish them off. We ran off to the tower as soon as the scavs ran away to the sight of their van on fire. Merc companies were very impressed by a bunch of newbies managing to cut off a vanguard scav crew. We earned ourselves a modest suite and some free booze. Our life is really starting to change, for the best...
